Hello everyone,

My name is Tran Thi Ngoc Van. I am currently living and working as an English teacher in Dong Nai City, Vietnam.

I graduated from the University of Agriculture and Forestry. Afterwards, I was very fortunate to be one of two students whom the university trusted and invited to stay on as lecturers. This blessing continued when I had the opportunity to pursue my Master’s degree at Victoria University (Australia).

I am truly delighted and grateful to officially become a teacher accompanying the students from Dak Tuc. With more than 25 years of experience in English teaching, I hope that I can contribute to helping the students understand, appreciate, and use English more confidently in their daily communication as well as in their learning environment.

It is a beautiful blessing that one of my former students introduced me to the educational programmes of Live Like Trees and invited me to join this meaningful journey. This is perhaps one of the invitations that I accepted most quickly. Perhaps it is because I have always had a special affection for ethnic minority communities. The sincerity, simplicity, humility, and warmth of the people have always touched my heart and inspired me to accompany and support them.

In my teaching, my goal is always to do my very best so that each lesson becomes effective, enjoyable, and, most importantly, inspires students to develop a love for learning. I hope that English lessons will become a foundation that helps the students of Dak Tuc become more confident, open up more opportunities for their future, and continue their educational journey to higher levels.

Dear students of Dak Tuc, in my eyes, each of you is a beautiful flower created and blessed by God. I hope that our journey together will be meaningful and that we will continue to learn, grow, and accompany one another for a long time.
